Feb 12 2010 - Imagewriter and Imagewriter II inventory

All printers are tested for print quality and paper feed. They are cleaned and the rails for the head are lubricated. Note that IW printers generally have trouble with "friction feed" of paper, you should use tractor feed, because of the age of the paper rollers and platin. All printers have some fading of color as noted; they do not have physical cracks or gouges unless specified. Printers are identified by the last digits of their serial number. 

Imagewriter II

IW II, grey AM09320 model, s/n ends in 9765. Color is faded grey, top is faded darker.
prints OK.

IW II, grey AM09320 model, s/n ends in 2115. Color is faded grey fade is uniform.
prints OK.

Imagewriter

IW, tan, s/n ends in 9215. Color is faded uniformly but not yellow. There is tape residue
long the bottom edges of the sides of the printer. Prints OK, but friction feed of paper does
not pull paper well (a typical issue).

IW, tan, s/n ends in 6887. Color is faded uniformly but not yellow. Power button is off but there is a usable
metal "stub" in its place. There is a crack in the transparent cover. Prints OK, but friction feed of paper does
not pull paper well (a typical issue).

IW, tan, s/n ends in 0163. Color is faded but some parts are darker, there's some cosmetic damage. There is tape residue
long the bottom edges of the sides of the printer.The rear top cover over the tractor feed is missing. Prints OK, but friction feed of paper does not pull paper well (a typical issue).

IW, tan, s/n ends in 7970. Color is faded but uniform. The rear top cover over the tractor feed is missing. There is tape residue along the bottom edges of the sides of the printer. There is some rust on the print head rail closest to the 
printer front (cleaned and lubricated). Prints OK, friction feed of paper is GOOD, unusual. 

IW, tan, *IN APPLE BOX* with matching serial number, manual, cables. S/N ends in 9561
Box is in good shape, a few dings, not much tape or labling.
Box includes printer, two intact styrofoam spacers, "Mac Accessory Box" with one manual, DB-25 to DB-9 Apple cable,
Apple AC power cord. Manual is Imagewriter User's Manual volume 1.
Printer is light tan, very slight fading, all parts intact. Transparent plastic paper cover is scuffed but not damaged.
Printer prints OK, friction feed does not pull paper well (typical).
